MUSIC IS WHAT FEELINGS SOUND LIKE

Growing up, my husband Ian and I had a strong connection to music. While I found it therapeutic, Ian could just sit in a dark room and get lost in the sound. Over the years, we have been fortunate to become friends with many artists and musicians. We have developed a greater appreciation for the dedication that goes into making the music we listened to.

In the fall of 2016, we sat down at the kitchen table one Sunday, and began an exciting adventure of designing guitar string jewelry. There was an instant connection. We discovered a matching emotional feeling from when we were younger and Retuned was born.

Our continued inspiration comes from our musician friends as well as the wonderful artists we have met. It’s in the stories they tell and the emotions they evoke. It comes from the countless hours of dedication they put into doing what they love. We feel all the love, passion and hard work these strings have been a part of. Our jewelry gives the strings new life and allows their stories to live on.
