The magnetic clasps we use are much more secure than the normal magnetic clasp where the two ends simply butt up against each other. With our clasp, one end is tucked completely inside the other making it much more difficult to knock off.
When shaping our bracelets, we ensure the ends are close together to make the clasp as effective as possible. However, after taking the bracelet on and off many times, it’s possible the two magnetic ends have come further apart. If that’s the case, the tension from the strings will pull on the magnet and cause it to be weaker.
Just give the bracelet a bit of a twist to get the two ends back close together. This will eliminate the tension from the strings pulling the magnetic ends apart and help keep your bracelet secure.
